Their B2B SaaS platform facilitates efficient returns and claims processes, ensuring retailers reclaim costs from manufacturers. Partnered with top brands like Matas, Coolshop, GANNI, and Hummel, Claimlane automates, and streamlines return workflows, enhancing scalability and stability for more than 8,000+ businesses relying on their product.
They recently secured €1.8 million in funding from Vendep Capital to support their continuous growth, improve their product, and enter new markets.
Your new role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality product while ensuring a robust technical foundation for scaling the platform and the team organically over the coming years.
Your primary responsibility is ensuring their software is always well-built and high quality, securing speed and product quality, and enabling them to focus on high-value features rather than fixing bugs. They expect you to contribute to general improvements to their software architecture and development.
They are a customer-centric product team, and their happy customers ensure they can continue to build the best products and create a fun and engaging working environment at Claimlane.
Your new responsibilities and tasks

- Take ownership of delivering high-value features at high velocity, knowing when to build and when to polish.
- You will ensure continuous quality and test coverage as they scale the product and grow the team organically. Currently, they have a healthy, well-tested codebase with few bugs.
- Contribute to delivering high-quality, well-tested code quickly and ensuring high-quality PR reviews.
- Make decisions and tradeoffs between building perfect software and delivering customer value.
- Mentoring and developing the team as it grows.
What you need to succeed
- Experience architecting and building scalable software.
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks/libraries, such as React.
- Experience working with CI/CD and Cloud deployment (They use Jenkins and deploy to AWS).
- Positive, optimistic, and get-shit-done attitude.
- Interested in solving real and valuable problems for customers.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
- Interested in constantly improving personally and as a team.
- Interested in working closely with the product team to ensure they build the right things.
Nice to have:
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Experience with Jenkins.
