Are you passionate about driving innovation in AI? We are seeking a motivated Sales Director to join the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI).
As a key member of our dynamic and growing team, you will be at the forefront of shaping the growth of a cutting-edge organization accelerating AI-powered innovation in Denmark. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and drive the adoption of AI technologies by customers across various sectors. As a Sales Director, your work will directly influence DCAI’s growth trajectory. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how our products are positioned and adopted by startups, large enterprises, and customers from the public sector.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive Customer Acquisition & Sales – Identify, target, and engage potential customers, including startups, enterprises, and research institutions across key sectors.
- Lead Outbound & Inbound Sales – Develop outreach strategies, qualify leads, and build a pipeline of AI-focused customers that need high-performance and AI computing solutions.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships – Establish relationships with AI-focused organizations, companies, universities, and research labs to build long-term partnerships and drive adoption.
- Sales Process & Negotiation – Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring seamless onboarding.
- Sales Forecasting & Performance Tracking – Manage the sales pipeline, track progress against goals, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are achieved.
- Business Development Strategy – Uncover trends, new business opportunities, and potential client segments to develop data-driven business strategies.
- Market Positioning & Messaging – Collaborate with the marketing team to craft targeted campaigns and sales materials.
- Communication & Engagement – Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to clients, and represent DCAI at trade shows and industry events to raise visibility and generate leads.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in business development and sales, including in high-growth or start-up environments.
- Proven ability to build and manage pipelines, close deals, and generate revenue.
- Experience selling computing products, hardware, and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A relevant professional network within AI, tech, or computing is a plus.
