PlentyONE is looking for a Data Engineer to help SMB e-commerce merchants make smarter operational decisions through our ERP platform. You'll work closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and scalable.

  • Develop and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases
  • Own data pipeline reliability: monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting production issues
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement data quality checks, validation, and governance practices
  • Optimize query performance and manage data warehouse/lakehouse infrastructure
  • Contribute to architecture decisions around data infrastructure (batch vs. streaming, storage formats, orchestration)

  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) or data lakes
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional modeling, normalization, star/snowflake schemas)
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
  • Solid understanding of data pipeline monitoring, testing, and reliability practices
