ZTLment is a venture-backed startup on a mission to eradicate the $1.7 trillion trade finance gap with smart contract software, based on blockchain. They have built a product that can trigger payments and financing from data events and milestones. Basically, “IF-THIS-THEN-MONEY.” By using ZTLment, cloud-based B2B marketplaces can grow revenues 2-5x by offering seamless financial services without having to deal with legacy bank APIs and outdated IBAN infrastructure. This in turn allows for a whole new level of financial programmability and settlement of transactions in seconds. Ultimately, their goal is to become the world’s best trade finance bank with products that are seamlessly embedded in business workflows. ZTLment’s journey – product foundation is in place ZTLment was started in 2021 by Mads Stolberg-Larsen, Jason Spasovski, and Harry Kearney. Based on their previous experiences at the successful B2B platform, Tradeshift, the NextGen technologies team of the professional services giant, Deloitte, as well as peer-reviewed research on blockchain at the IT University of Copenhagen, they realized that the timing was right for building a new way to do trade finance. The smart contract software product, which recently went live with the first clients, can: 1. Route real euro and other currencies via simple IF-THEN statements. 2. Be embedded in existing- and new business workflows. 3. Settle business transactions in 5 seconds. The background story is that they built the first iteration of the product in Q1 2021. Right after finishing it, they knocked on the front door of the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) – and then their lives got hard. The team has spent a lot of time and energy up until now figuring out how their blockchain technology is regulated under Payment Service Directive 2 (PSD2). Figuring this out took longer than anticipated. However, the results were tremendous and the DFSA has publicly recognized that “Blockchain proves its potential” with ZTLment’s solution.
ZTLment is therefore looking for an Account Executive to help bring Ztlement towards series A and beyond together with the founders. What we are looking for – commercial acceleration On the professional side, we are looking for:
Strong startup experience within business development – preferably with startups that have made it to Series A and beyond.
Experience with B2B SaaS platforms – either by working with or in them.
Experience working in international environments and is ready to do some travel across Europe.
Experience with product positioning and go-to-market strategy

Besides that, you are based in Copenhagen or elsewhere in Europe (including the UK!).
We are looking for someone with past SDR/BDR experience, as well as experience as an account executive.
