ZTLment are seeking a Senior Fintech Developer to take the helm of the API development, a role pivotal to the growth and innovation. This position is crucial as ZTLment look to expand their product offerings and enhance the payment solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the APIs, working closely with the core team to ensure their technology stack remains cutting-edge. As they transition their technological leadership, this role will evolve, offering the opportunity to become the tech lead for APIs, shaping the future of the payments platform.

• Leading the API development for the blockchain-based payment solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.
• Collaborating with the team to design and implement data models, primarily using PostgreSQL, that support the growth and scalability needs.
• Taking ownership of the end-to-end development process, from design to deployment, ensuring best practices in security and development are always followed.
• Playing a key role in the improvement and management of the tech stack, including integration with external providers and services.
• Contributing to the team's efforts in redefining the development strategies, focusing on continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), documentation, and efficient Git workflows.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a significant portion within the fintech sector.
• Demonstrable experience in leading projects or teams, with a keen ability to mentor and support team growth.
• Strong proficiency in Java (or similar languages such as C#), with a deep understanding of API design and architecture.
• A solid foundation in data modeling, database management (PostgreSQL preferred), and data security practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, documentation standards, and Git.
• An understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding payment systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
